| PDP serving militants cause, alleges BJP | | | Jammu | Mar 9 PDP is serving the cause of militants by asking for demilitarization in Jammu and Kashmir and this demand of the party proves that it working against the interests of the country. This was stated today by BJP spokesperson, Ramesh Arora, who was addressing a press conference at party headquarter here today. Alleging that all Kashmir centric parties including National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party and Hurriyat Conference are playing to the galleries and demanding the rollback of security forces, despite the fact that situation is not conducive for the same. Arora, alleged that the every action of these parties is calculated to demoralize the security forces by making unwanted demands. The BJP leader said that many senior BJP leaders lost their lives in the proxy-war and BJP will not tolerate any deal or hidden understanding or statement of demilitarization which will amount to encourage militant related activities. Arora, further alleged that BJP apprehends a secret understanding over Kashmir issue, between UPA government and Pakistan and warned that any such decision without taking into account the people will be opposed tooth and nail. He further said that demand for withdrawal of security forces is a calculated move which will serve the purpose of militants. In all proxy-war like conditions the prime object of terrorists is to demoralize the security men and in Kashmir this is being done by attacking the security forces on the issue of human rights violations. BJP leader said that the accession is irrevocable and complete and prime job of government is to control militancy and not to allow them to reorganize. He further alleged that the government has not been able to contain price-hike, corruption and no efforts are made to upgrade the Medical College as assured by NDA government.
