| Charak lauds the policies of the Govt, asks party workers to be united | | | JAMMU, March 10
Minister for Roads and Buildings Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak has said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, the state is heading towards a phase of peace and prosperity. He said that the people oriented approach adopted by the Azad led government has made the people to feel that the policies and the programmes of the government and encompass their aspirations.
Mr. Charak addressing a one-day convention of party workers of block Vijaypur at Vijaypur today Mr. Charak eulogizing the measures taken by the present government said that the historical Roshni Act, creation of new administrative units, constitution of a Planning Commission, amending anti defection law and introduction of double shift in the execution of the development works are the landmark decisions of Azad led government.
Mr. Charak said that a foolproof monitoring system has been adopted in the execution of development works adding that hundreds of road connectivity projects are under execution under Bharat Nirman. He said that all the habitations of the state would be inter-connected by the roads by the year in 2009.
Appealing the party workers to strengthen the hands of Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad for fulfilling the dream of khushal Kashmir, Mr. Charak asked them to strengthen their cadres and reach out to the common masses for identifying and assessing their problems and highlighting them before the government. He said that some forces are trying to exploit the people of the state by hollow slogans and trading their aspirations, which he maintained is not in the interest of the state as well as the people. |
