BJYM holds symbolic hanging of Afzal

State Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today symbolically hanged Mohd. Afzal Guru as part of the Signature Campaign launched at Rehari Colony, Jammu.
This signature campaign has been launched against delay in honouring the verdict of court . This massive campaign was organized by BJYM state secretary Er. Pranav Gupta.
BJP State Gen. secretary & BJYM Prabhari Shamsher Singh Manhas, on this occasion, said that no mercy should be granted to terrorists who kill innocents or attack the temple of Indian Democracy. Manhas said that BJP has always stood for stern punishment to all those, who are involved in anti-national activities. The BJP led NDA under Atal Behari Vajpayee had enacted POTA to deal with all those found guilty in such activities.
BJYM State General Secretary Rajiv Charak said that parliament is the proud symbol of Indian democracy and the very foundation of Indian nationhood. Thus, attack on the parliament amounts to attack on the very foundations of Indian democracy and nationhood.
Pranav Gupta said that the terrorists, who killed late Indira Gandhi were hanged to death and same punishment should be accorded to attackers of parliament.
While conducting state BJYM vice-president, Sahil Gupta and state secretary Surinder choudhary said that if Afzal Guru receives a pardon it will only send a message to the world that life of a convicted terrorists is precious in India.
