| Parihar demands fulfillment of electric employees’ demands | | | JAMMU, MARCH 10
Expressing grave concern over the plight of Electric Department employees, Omkar Singh Parihar District BJMP President Ramban alleged that the government was not giving due attention to the welfare of the electric department employees, who are on protest dharna at Ramban since last five days.
In a statement, Parihar said that SRO 149 of 1973 should be implemented in letter and spirit and all the daily wagers should be regularized besides granting risk allowance and two and a half days salary in favour of the protesting employees.
The BJP youth leader urged upon the Chief Minister to intervene into the matter and fulfill the demands of the protesting employees
