| SMGS to celebrate its 67th foundation day on May 5 | | | JAMMU, MARCH 10
To celebrate the 67th foundation day of Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh Hospital, the hospital authorities are carrying out different activities during the current and next month which includes patient satisfaction survey in the wards, OPDs and other patient care areas.
Dr Yashpal Sharma Medical Superintendent SMGH Hospital and Chief spokesperson of GMC and Associated Hospitals Jammu said here today that employees’ satisfaction survey, lecturers on various topics on hospital management, workshop on ‘ Hospital medical records’ would also be conducted by the hospital administration in collaboration with Jammu Chapter of Academy of Hospital Administration and M/S Johnson & Johnson Ltd .
Sharma further said training program of staff nurses on theatre techniques including sterilization, art of living classes and pediatrics’ quiz involving post graduate and pediatrics’ and gynae department would be other features of the celebrations. A competition for best maintained ward, OPD and other support services will also be organized and the nominations for most punctual, popular and well dressed employee would be received and finalization of best performer will be done by a committee of judges to be appointed by the Principal GMC.
Medical Superintendent said the activities would conclude one day before the 67th foundation day falling on May 5 for which a function would be held at Hospital Auditorium to celebrate the occasion and to felicitate the best performers in different fields.
