Believe it or not but it is a fact that the drivers and conductors of passenger transport vehicles are not adhering to the instructions of Transport Commissioner to wear Khaki clothes.
The instruction contained in circular issued by the Commissioner making it mandatory for the drivers and cleaners to wear uniform is all together being ignored by them making mockery of government instructions.
According to the sources over 45 percent passenger transport vehicles are plying in the district without having valid licenses and in most of the cases the untrained drivers have been found driving these vehicles leading to frequent road accidents in the area.
The people of the area are pleading for strict implementation of the government instructions and demand that those found violating these should be booked and even their licenses cancelled.
