| SMC in full swing to clear snow | | | Srinagar, March 13
In view of heavy snowfall, Srinagar Municipal Corporation has pressed its men and machinery into service to clear all lanes and by lanes on priority.
In this regard, 10 dozers cum loaders have been pressed into service for snow clearance and special attention has been given to Makhdoom Sahib Shrine in view of annual Urs. Besides, all dewatering stations have been directed to work round the clock 35 mobile de-watering pumps have already been deployed.
The Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation along with the Deputy Mayor and the Commissioner visited various areas of the city including Lal Chowk, Karnnagar, Noorbagh, Makhdoom sahib, Nowpora and oversaw the snow clearance operations.
