| One held for smuggling bovines | | |
Jammu: One person has been arrested and eight bovines were recovered along with a truck that was being used to transport bovines to Kashmir valley from Jammu on the Jammu and Kashmir highway at Rambhal, 60 kms from here, official sources said.
Police last night intercepted the truck which was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu, at Rambhal area of Udhampur district on the highway, they said adding that eight bovines were recovered.
The truck driver Mohmmad Yoqoob was arrested and the truck along with the animals were seized. |
