Alleged corruon case registered against MS SMGS Hospital

Jammu March 13
Vigilance Organization, on a complaint filed by one Rajesh Sharma of refrigerators, Exchange Road Jammu, has registered a case against Yash Pal Sharma Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital Jammu u/s 5(2) PC Act 2006 BK r/w section 161 RPC and started investigation in the case.
According to the FIR, the complainant appeared in the P/S VOJ and lodged a written complaint in which he submitted that he had taken contract for repair/maintenance of ACs for the year 2006-2007 in GMC Jammu and its Associated Hospitals. He submitted a bill for Rs 20,000 is pending for payment in the office of Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital Jammu but Medical Superintendent Yash Pal Sharma is demanding Rs 5000 as illegal gratification for the said amount. On the complaint, a team was constituted, who laid the trap but when the complainant offered the bribe money, the Superintendent Sharma threw the money outside the room in presence of other persons who were already sitting there. The case for investigation has been entrusted to AK Chib Deputy SP Vigilance for further investigation.
