| Bandh asks engineers for speedy snow clearance | | | Jammu, March 14
Minister of State for Roads and Buildings Mr. Mohammad Khalil Bandh has directed the engineers of concerned departments for immediate clearance of snow from all the roads of the valley so that road connectivity to far-flung areas could be resumed.
Mr. Bandh also stressed upon the engineers to take urgent steps for dewatering in the affected areas of the valley. He urged upon the district administration Pulwama to assess the losses of orchards and other seeds so that the relief would be given to the affected people.
He also asked the district administration to ensure adequate of essential commodities to the consumers of the district on prescribed rates and also properly monitor the distribution so as to avoid profiteering and black marketing.
