Katra, Sept 12: Miffed over delaying tactics being adopted by administration, protesting Safai Karamcharis today gherao the office of EO Municipal Committee Katra.
The Safai Karamcharis, who are on strike since last three days today assembled outside office of EO and locked the entrance of EO office. The EO remained locked for around two hours between 12 to 2 PM and later protesters set EO free. President of Safai Karamcharis Kala said that they would intensity their agitation if their demands would not be conceded soon. "We will go on indefinite hunger strike if our demands will not be conceded till tomarrow evening", Kala said. |
