Jammu, Sept 12: State Muslim Morcha of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today condemned the communal violence in Uttar Pradesh (UP) and lodged a massive protest at Bathindi on the outskirts of Jammu against the Akhilesh Yadav led Samajwadi Party (SP) government in Uttar Pradesh under Mulayam Singh Yadav's patronage. Led by BJP Muslim Morcha District President Bashir Ahmed and BJP Industry Cell Convener Ch Vikram Randhawa, the protestors amid sloganeering demanded President's Rule in Uttar Pradesh. Addressing the protestors speakers condemned the flaring up of communal incidents in UP and came down heavily upon the Akhilesh Yadav government for failing to curb such incidents. They urged upon the public in general to maintain communal harmony and not to pay any heed towards the rumours. Holding Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav, fully responsible for communal violence Ch Vikram Randhawa, urged upon the President of India to impose President's Rule in Uttar Pradesh as the rulers have miserably failed to maintain law and order in the state. Speakers mentioned a total of 107 incident of communal violence have taken place in Uttar Pradesh in a small span of just 17 months of Samajwadi Party's rule resulting into atleast hundred deaths which clearly indicates the failure of SP government which now has no right to continue. Among prominent present in this protest include Ramzan Mohd, Sher Mohd, Shabir Hussain, Allah Din, Ashok Sharma, Karamat Hussain, Mohd Ashraf, Abdul Gabbar, Hyder Ali, Hamid Ali, Shamsh-u-din, Muneer Alam and Sadiq Hussain. |
