JAMMU, Sept 12: Jammu District shall be playing against their counterparts from Reasi in the under-14 final of the ongoing inter-district divisional level girls' kho-kho tournament, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Youth Hostel Nagrota, near here tomorrow. Earlier, in the semifinals, played today, Jammu defeated district Ramban 26-02 in a one-sided contest while Reasi girls outplayed district Rajouri by one turn and eight points. Results: Preliminary round: Jammu bt Udhampur 1-0; Rajouri bt Samba 11-02.
Meanwhile, in other two age groups of under-17 and under-19, the competition was at preliminary stages. Matches were officiated by Ravi Kumar, Narayan, Suraj Dev Singh, Rajesh Samyal and Tilak Raj.

Under-17 year: Reasi bt Ramban one turn and seven points; Jammu bt Doda by one turn and nine points; Udhampur beat Kathua by one turn and six points; Rajouri beat Samba by one point.
Under-19 year: Reasi bt Rajouri 7-5; Udhampur bt Doda by one turn and one point; Samba bt Kathua by eight points; Jammu bt Kishtwar by one turn and nine point. |
