| Soldier injured in accidental fire | | | Et Report
Rajouri, Sept 12 : In an accidental fire, a soldier was injured in the morning today in Balakot sector in Poonch district. Sources said that the incident took place when the jawans were cleaning the weapons. At about 7 am today sepoy Rajinder Kumar resident of Jammu and attached with Grenadier unit was cleaning the weapon when a single bullet left inside the chamber hit him at left hand. After first hand treatment in the nearby medical centre he was shifted to army hospital at Rajouri in the afternoon where he is under treatment. Internal inquiry has been initiated in the incident. |
