| 574 pilgrims of Budgam selected for Haj | | |
Srinagar, August 03 -As many as 574 persons of Budgam district have been selected for performing annual Hajj pilgrimage 2006-07 through draw of lots at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall till date. Today the draw of lots was held for Chadoora and Chrar-e-Sharief tehsils in which 261 and 22 pilgrims were selected respectively. Yesterday, 244 and 47 pilgrims were shortlisted from Budgam and Khansahib tehsils.
On 4th of August, the draw of lots will be held for Khag and Beerwah tehsils. The draw of lot was held under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Budgam. |
