| SP Handwara conducts market checking | | |

In the wake of heavy snowfall, SP Handwara conducted market checking in Handwara town and peripheral areas here today. The market checking was conducted to keep a tab on black-marketers and hoarders.
While no one was arrested during the checking, however, shopkeepers were instructed by SP to keep everything available for the common people and avoid unjust profiteering in this hour of need. Later SP Handwara also visited SDH Langate and information about the absent employees of hospital was forwarded to the concerned authorities.
Locals of Handwara and peripheral areas have appreciated this role of J&K Police in mitigating their sufferings at these hard times.
