SRINAGAR, AUGUST 03 – In Legislative Council during Zero Hour various public importance issues were raised by various members. The issues raised included with regard to safe drinking water, enhancement of salary of Namberdars and Chowkidars, immediate relief to flood victims in Leh and Kargil districts, relief to earthquake victims of Poonch and Kupwara district, availability of cash in treasuries in Jammu, checking of adultration in kerosene oil and milk, ration to the people in high reachs of Doda and Budgam districts, appointment of drivers in health department for ambulances, action against Naib Tehsildar for allotting state land in Mendhar, funds for water suply scheme at Sheer-Pathri in Shopian.
Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Bhat, Mr. B. A. Naz, mr. P. Namgyal, Mr. N. A. Mir, Mr. Ashok Sharma, Mr. T. S. Wazir, Mr. Arvinder Singh, Mr. M. S. Panditpuri, Mr. M. I. Bhat, Mr. A. G. Vakil, Mr. Nassurullah, mr. M. R. Qureshi, Mr. Bilal ahmad Lodhi and Mr. A. R. Takroo raised these issues in the Legislative Council today. |
