| Ousted Sales Tax employees strike continues | | | Jammu March 15
The strike launched by the ousted employees of Jammu and Kashmir Excise and Commercial Tax Department continued for the 43th consecutive day today. .The employees are regularly holding protest demonstration outside the Excise and Taxation Office Railhead complex here in support of their demand for absorption in the department on the pattern of the employees of the Agriculture and other departments.
Addressing the protestors, the leaders of Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Girdhari Lal Chanda and S B Bakshi has impressed upon the government to concede the long pending demand of the employees on humanitarian groups as they are facing acute financial crisis apart from mental agony.
