The activists of State Unit of Shiv Sena Hindustan today burnt the effigy of Railway Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav in the Raghunath chowk area here for his alleged anti-people measures.
Speaking on the occasion, the State President Dimpy Kohli has asked the Railway Minister not to befool the people and come out of his Bihari thinking.
Senior vice president Pritam Sharma addressing the activists said that the Railway Minister has brought kudos to himself internationally by saying that the train will be running in Kashmir valley but the ground situation was altogether different and the much talked about double track from Pathankot to Jammu is a day dreaming and asked the Minister to roll back the fares as also change the time table of DMU. He warned if these demands are not met, the Sena activists would stop movement of trains, a party handout said.
Those present included Chairman Vipin Gupta, Gian Sharma, vice president, Yashpal, Bhupinder Sharma, Vikas Diwan, Praven, Rakesh, Rajesh Kak, Vikram Singh, Rajinder Bhagat, Kamal Verma, Bunty, Shiv Kumar and Raj Kumar.
