Jammu, Sept 24: Cautioning the people of Jammu to defeat the divisive politics of National Conference PDP candidate for Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yashpaul Sharma (MLC) impressed upon the people to defeat the National Conference ill design of communalism in the forth coming Lok Sabha election.
PDP's contesting candidate in forthcoming polls, Yashpaul emphasized that the vision of Mufti Sayeed and PDP is to have an inclusive development for the whole Jammu & Kashmir.
He said, during Mufti Sayeed stint as a chief minister there was no discrimination on the name of cast, creed religion and area. He said it was due to the vision of Mufti Sayeed that there was a peace and tranquility at the LoC. Addressing an impressive public meeting at Sunder Bani area, he said it is the National Conference which is responsible for the present turmoil in the J&K. He said area of Sunder Bani is totally neglected from the last five years and when there are number of schemes for developments the area is still passing through a dark age and blamed the present political lead in center and state for this chaos and poverty. He promised to the public if given chance he will work for the upliftment of the area and will try to implement comprehensive developmental programme without any biasness. He cautioned the people to not come in to the trap of National Conference whose only motto is to remain in power. He said that time has come where every single vote will be counted and reiterated it is only PDP which fulfill the criterion of development and honesty where other political classes are hell bent to divide the people in the name of religion, cast, creed and region.
Raj Kumar, a prominent educationist Om Parkash Sharma Retd ZEO, Advocate Ashwani Sharma, and Advocate Nitan Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
