Workshop on "Human Rights Essential For World Peace" organized

Jammu, Sept 24: A work shop on "Human Rights Essential For World Peace" was organized by SEMOK (Students Educational Movement of Kargil) in collaboration with Civi Defence Organization at Government Higher Secondary School Drass.
A large number of students from different schools of Drass and Kargil participated. Executive councilor Mohammad Shafi presided over as chief guest. SDM Drass Barkat Ali as guest of honor.
A debate competition was also organized on the above said subject where children from different schools participated. Gulnar Fatima from JAME school Kargil stood first in the competition and awards were distributed by the Executive councilor.
On this occasion many experts spoke on different topics. Dy. SP Kargil Stanzin Losal gave presentation on role of Civil Defence volunteers in serving the community during war and peace time especially in mitigation of manmade and natural disasters.
