Rajouri, Sept 24: To implement various schemes and to discuss the issues related to the department , Chief Education Officer (CEO) today held a meeting of the officials in meeting hall at boys higher secondary school today. Besides Suresh Kumar, district education planning officer, Chanchal Kumar, assistant director planning all zonal education officers (ZEOs), principals and head masters were present in the meeting. Ch Lal Hussain, CEO directed the DDOs concerned to relieve the newly promoted / adjusted asters, senior assistants under orders of transfer, who are not relieved so far, with an immediate effect and direct them to report to their new place of posting without any further delay. He informed the officials that this was decided in a recent meeting called by director school education at Jammu and director has authorized the CEOs to implement his orders. Ch Lal Hussain also asked the officers of education department not to allow the teaching/ non teaching staff without prior permission/serve cause to approach the offices of ZEOs, CEO and director school education. CEO also discussed and circulated 21 point 'measure to improve functioning of institutions in order to impart quality Education'. He also directed/ asked the Zonal Education officers to furnish the requisite information as per agenda points including high and higher secondary schools of their jurisdiction (being nodal officer) within the stipulated period of time and requested the heads of the schools to co-operate the ZEOs in this matter. |
