| JKHRW takes stock of ceasefire violations situation on LoC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 24: Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Watch (JKHRW) on Tuesday took stock of the situation arisen due to the increasing violations of ceasefire on the LoC resulting people of border areas of district Rajouri and Poonch have been facing a lot of problems. The meeting was presided over by its chairman BL Kapoor, the executive body members resolved that the critical condition of the border people of Rajouri and Poonch should be given special heed by the government so that the people may not suffer anymore and not force to leave their houses due to the fear and terrorism. BL Kapoor said that the Pakistani troops have made 120 attempts pertaining to violation of cease fire till date besides this several civilians have lost their lives and also the brave Indian soldiers had been sacrifice their lives. Kapoor further said that PAK troops have been gearing up their activities because of the assembly elections to be held in near future and this is the preplanned and after thought decision of the Pakistani authorities to disturb the peace of the state so that the election may not held successfully. He also hinted that there is hand of some of associates of Pakistan active in India which need to be recognized by the Intelligence of India. It is surprising and amazing that some of the people who joined hands with Pakistan adopting their policies are showing themselves as patriot of India and acting as the leaders of some political parties. |
