Srinagar , Sept 24: Pradesh Congress Committee Social Media workshop concluded late last night, the workshop was held at Nigeen Club, Srinagar.
The workshop was inaugurated by JKPCC Chief Prof. Saifuudin Soz (MP), while Minister for Housing and Urban Development Nawan Rigzin Zora, Minister for Tourism Ghulam Ahmed Mir, General Secretary PCC I/C Media Communication and IT department Ravinder Sharma-MLC and Ghulam Nabi Monga-MLC & Vice President and also addressed the gathering.
The AICC Social Media team comprising of Gourav Pandhi, Hemang Raval, Zafar Sheikh and Nimit Kathuria educated the participants about the role and importance of Social Media in the present times and highlighted various aspects and use of social media for promoting positive and constructive purposes to educate the masses through Congress platforms.
The AICC team on the directions of Vice AICC Rahul Gandhi and AICC General Secretary I/C Media Communication Department delivered the lecture on various aspects of Social Media and asked the youth to remain decent, positive and make constructive approach to counter the vicious propaganda of communal forces who spread canards against the secular fabric of the country.
In his inaugural address Prof. Soz highlighted the role of Social Media and asked the youth to harness the Social Media based on truth and decency and tolerance as propagated by Mahtma Gandhi. He cautioned against the misuse of these facilities.
He (Prof. Soz) wished the Social Media Managers, particularly Revinder Sharma General Secretary, Incharge Social Media and Communication of the JKPCC and a great success in their endeavor. Meanwhile Pradesh Congress Committee President Prof. Saifuddin Soz visited Bandipora today and laid the foundation of road connecting Degree College Bandipora.
This was a pressing demand from Bandipora which Prof. Soz fulfilled out of his MP LAD Fund.
He sanctioned Rs. 30.00 Lacs out of His MP LAD. For the construction of road.
Prof. Soz was accompanied by Shamlal Sharma Minister for PHE, Irrigation & FC, Gulamn Nabi Monga MLC, Vice President, Usman Majeed Senior Congress Leader & Ex. Minister. Habibullah Bhat, Kuldeep Raj Verma Vice Chairman OBC ,Imtiyaz Parray and many other leaders of the District.
On this occasion a large of people gathered and Prof. Soz addressed and emphasized the fact that Congress Party would get closer to the people, by the day and try its best to solve their problems. On the occasion Shamlal Sharma ordered the Senior Officers of the PHE to provide bore well to solve the drinking water problem for 2000 students, who are studying in the Government Degree College Bandipora. Prof. Soz assured the people that many other problems highlighted by the Principal of the College and the people of Bandipora would be resolved as early as possible. He urged the people to rally support for Congress Party, so that the Party Functionaries would identify the problems and solve these to the satisfaction of the people. |
