Jammu, Sept 24: All Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation Jammu has extended full support to protest programme of Joint Consultative Committee after meeting of September 27. Addressing media persons, provincial president Amrik Singh said that government has been adopting delaying tactics to concede the long pending demands of employees. They appealed to all PSUs to support the given programme of JCC under the leadership of Abdul Qayoom Wani. They also appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to announce DA in favour of government employees and hoped that DA would also be released on the anology of Government departments in favour of all ublic sectors. Their demands included release of six pay commission arrears to all PSU's on the analogy of government department, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, regularization of all daily wager, consolidated employees, give budgetary support to all PSU's with proper allocation of funds, implementation of gratuty act in TOTO beside others. |
