| AISF warns to launch 'Assembly march- Chalo Kashmir' from Sept 30 | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Sept 25: All India Students Federation (AISF) District Council Doda held a press conference at distt headquarter Doda to express its anguish and to announce its new programme. While talking to media persons AISF president Chenab Valley Region Mukesh Parihar blamed the State Govt for inaugurating the same University Campus thrice but every time it was an eye wash with the students and with the public of Doda. This time if the govt. fails to make the Campus functional before 30th September, then we will be compelled to start a historical foot march from Doda to Kashmir with the name "Assembly march- Chalo Kashmir", he said. Govt.'s failure to start PG classes in University Campus Doda was lamented which it had assured last year on 20th October 2012 to the student of Doda when they were on an indefinite hunger strike for 15 days through a letter no. DCD/PA/2012/1476-78 dated 20-10-2012. The Government had agreed to start PG classes in Doda Degree College from September. The agreement was made by then the Higher Education Minister Abdul Gani Malik through Deputy Commissioner Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan. Others who were present in the conference include Mohd Saleem, Ranbir Singh, Shahid Hussain, Rohit Singh, Mir Chand and Anrood Singh in the Conference. |
