Kathua, Sept 25: Samajik Insaf Manch (SIM) members today started 24 hours hunger strike at tehsil headquarters at Hirangar.
A batch of eight people today sat for 24 hours hunger strike under the leadership of BL Kandley District Secretary Samajik Insaf Manch, Kali Dass, Pawan Kumar Raj Paul Som Dutt Manoj Kumar YashPaul and Kewal Krishan including Kandley.
Addressing the gathering B.L Kandley said that the authorities have totally failed to implement the orders of High Court and playing with the sentiments of the houseless/ landless scheduled caste families.
He warned the authorities to implement the orders of the High Court immediately otherwise the struggle would be intensified and the responsibility would be of district administration. Besides others Ram Paul Sharma, Suresh Kumar, Kali Dass, Karam Chand, Pawan Kumar, Mohinder Kumar also addressed the gathering. |
