| JPS children exposed to learning, educational experiences | | | early times report Jammu, Sept 25: At Jodhamal Public School education is not restricted just to the four walls of a class room and hence in the pursuit for excellence and making the children learn through personal experience, Jodhamal organized educational tours for the students to the Air Force Station, Botanical Garden, Jammu University, Aquarium, Bagh-e-Bahu and to many other places. Around 200 students of Jodhamal Public School visited Air Force Station as part of an educational cum motivational visit. As part of the tour, the school children visited various defence establishments of the Air Force. During their visit, they got a chance to see and experience the various types of equipments including tanks and helicopters. The students were wonder-struck at the inspiring visit inside the MI-17 helicopter and were given a detailed briefing by their offices. The children were thrilled beyond words at having seen a helicopter from inside. The students were extremely keen to learn and absorb all they could, and asked interesting questions. They also had a glance and were detailed about planes operated with remote control. The students stated that they were thrilled at the wonderful and inspiring visit to the Air Force Stations and were highly motivated to strive for and join the armed forces for an adventurous career in the service of the nature. Further in its endeavour to make learning an experimental one the school organized the visits of the little ones of class 1st and 2nd to aquarium, super market and departmental store as well and class 4th and 5th had an opportunity to visit the botanical garden at the Jammu University where the bookish information was transported to the 400 students of Jodhamal in a phased manner for a life time. Principal Jodhamal Trilok Singh Bist appreciated the efforts of co-ordinator Ranju and Johri for organizing these educational trips smoothly and efficiently. |
