Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 25: National Panther Students Union (NPSU) today criticized the state government for holding just seven sitting in nine days autumn session of the Legislature beginning September 30. Addressing a press conference at Party Office, State President NPSU, Partap Singh Jamwal said that the state government is befooling the general masses and within this short span how it can be possible to highlight the issues of all the constituencies. "In the short span, the representatives not even utilized their due quota of submitting questions, private member's bills and resolutions", said Partap. Quoting a report of a daily newspaper, he said that the business for autumn session revealed that only 474 questions have been received from 60 MLAs, who were entitled to raise 600 queries ie 300 each in starred and un-starred categories and in this short span how it can be possible to raise such questions. Only, a day each has been reserved for private member's bills and private member's resolutions while five days have been fixed for the Government business. Partap Singh warned the state government that if time will not be given to raise the issues of the youth in the assembly then the government will have to face agitation from the youth.
