| Traders donate for langar | | | Jammu March 15 Traders Federation Ware House, Nehru Market, Jammu and Vegetable and Fruit Merchants of Narwal Mandi Jammu have donated a truck load of food grains, pulses, edible oils and vegetables, worth Rs 2.5 lakh to Jammu Yatri Bhawn, for holding Langar Bhandara at Haridwar during Somavati Umavas and Navratras, commencing from March 19. The truck carrying the material was ceremonially flagged off by Sh Ramesh Gupta President Traders Federation Ware House, Nehru Market, Jammu this afternoon. Speaking on the occasion Ramesh Gupta lauded the role of Jammu Yatri Bhawn in rendering valuable services to the pilgrims from Jammu going to Haridwar, to perform religious ceremonies etc. Sh Pawan Shastri, President Jammu Yatri Bhawn Trust, thanked the Traders Federation ware House Jammu, Traders of Vegetables and Fruits Mandi Jammu and other donors for making liberal donations to the Yatri Bhawn Trust for accomplishing its projects of serving the pilgrims. Mr. Shastri also informed that during the coming Manmas month special arrangements will be made for the pilgrims from Jammu to Haridwar. He appealed to the donors to donate in cash and kind for running Langar Bhandara there. Jammu Yatri Bhawn at Haridwar has built a spacious house, with 150 commodious rooms, equipped with all the modern amenities, where the pilgrims from Jammu are provided free accommodation and also served free wholesome meals 4 times daily.
