Jammu, Sept 25: Jammu and Kashmir Gujjar Bakarwal Desh Youth Body (JKGBDYB) has criticized the state and center governments for its failure to provide reliefs to the people who suffered huge loss in recent rains and earthquake.
While addressing a press conference, state president JKGBDYB, Choudhary Nazakat Khatana said that he recently visited the affected areas like Doda, Bhaderwah, Bhagwa, Desa, Kishtwar, Chattruk, Paddar and Ramban and found that the people whose houses got damaged due to incessant rains and earthquake have not received any relief from state and center governments.
He further said during his visit he met many people of the affected areas who suffered lot of damage of crops, houses, animals but till date they are without help. He appealed the state government and the centre government to provide them the relief package as soon as possible. Those who were present on the occasion included Shivali Rani, Jaswant Singh Rao and Shabir Ahmed and Mohammad Yousaf. |
