Srinagar, Sept 25: To boost Youth Congress activities in Kashmir Valley, S Manjeet Singh Jatt General Secretary Pradesh Youth Congress J&K Incharge Srinagar, Lok Sabha toured Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency and attended several meetings.
He was accompanied by President, Lok Sabha Srinagar constituency Ammir Rasool and General Secretary Aijaj Maqbool.
While addressing the meeting Singh stressed upon the unity and co-operation within the party. He also urged the local and unemployed youth to get benefits from the centrally sponsored schemes "Uddan", "Himayat", "MGNREGA", and others which have been started due to the efforts of Vice-President AICC Rahul Gandhi to curb unemployment throughout the country.
Singh also said that the Congress would win majority seats in the coming elections of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha in the state. He also appealed the Youth to join the hands of Rahul Gandhi for the welfare and betterment of the country. |
