JAMMU, Sept 25: Semifinals position has been cleared with the entry of Government MAM College, GGM Science College, GDC Udhampur and PG Arts in the last four stages of the ongoing inter-college men's football tournament, organised by the GGM Science College under the aegis of Directorate of Sports, JU, here today.
Now, in the semifinals, to be played tomorrow, GGM Science College shall meet PG Arts while MAM College shall face GDC Udhampur.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Science College trounced Government SPMR College of Commerce by two goals to one while PG Arts blanked aggressive but inexperienced Bhargva Degree College Samba 3-0.
In other quarterfinals, GDC (boys) Udhampur outplayed PG Law and Sciences by a solitary goal and MAM College registered a 2-1 win over MIET College of Engineering. Today's quarterfinals were officiated by the technical penal including Ajay Sharma, Koushay Kumar, Rohit Gupta, Dhananjay Sharma, Pradeep Katoch and Gagan Kumar under the supervision of PTI GGM Science College, Dr Vinod Bakshi. |
