Jammu, Sept 25: Bhagya Laxmi Charitable Trust (BLCT) move to rural areas for a plantation drive in Panchayat Ghar of village Kot, Kot Bhalwal in presence of BLCT Chairman Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch Sukhdev Singh, Panch Anil Kumar, Ram Saran Sharma and others was highly appreciated. Many respected and senior citizen of the area attended the drive and stressed on the plantation drive for the beautification and environment friendly atmosphere. On this occasion, BJP general secretary & former MLA Bali Bhagat, chief guest of the function, inaugurated the function and praised the NGO's volunteers for this social cause and said this is the right time to think about the plantation when man is using wood for his comfort and cutting trees blindly, but not thinking about the future. We should take initiative to come up with the solution and sort out the environment problem, he said. Bali Bhagat promised to give every possible help for this social cause and ask the NGO to continue plantation drive for the safe and sound future. Ashwani Sharma urged the young generation to come forward to participate in the drive which is necessary for their future. He added its necessary and duty of every individual to grow atleast one tree in his/her life. We welcome the like minded and social people to help us to grow more and more trees. The volunteers planted 50 numbers of trees in the Panchayat Ghar campus and thanked the local people for their supporting this cause. The other volunteers of the NGO who attended the function include vice-president Manmohan Kumar, general secretary Chetan Mehra, secretary Shivender Kumar, Org. secretary Varun Gupta, Sachin Gupta, Raju, Dev Dutt, Sunil Bhasin, Anoop Gupta, Deepansh Kumar, Kamal Kishore, Raj Kumar, Pawan Dev Singh, Bansi Lal and others were present on the occasion. |
