JAMMU, Sept 25: Reacting over the news story published in section of press on Wednesday, the Medical Superintendent of Super Specialty Hospital (SSH) Jammu, Dr Riyaz Ahmed today maintained that the cause of power failure in one of the operation theatre was not mechanical but a deliberate attempt by some vested interests.
"The cause of failure in Operation Theatre looks to be not mechanical one but a deliberate attempt by some vested interests, who switched off the main panel of a particular OT and were well aware that some precious surgery was conducted upon", the press note issued by Dr. Riyaz said.
He further maintained that immediately the power supply was restored by the expert electricians with the directions to remain vigil to avoid such incidents in near future. "Besides a committee has been constituted to further investigate the matter by the Principal, Government Medical College, Jammu. An FIR has also been lodged with Police Station Bakshi Nagar Jammu in this regard", he maintained. |
