| Zahoor for early restoration of power supply | | | Jammu, March 15
MLA Pampore, Mir Zahoor Ahmad has demanded early restoration of Power and Water supply in the affected areas in the valley especially in Pampore constituency which were damaged due to heavy snow fall. He asked CA&PD authorities to ensure adequate supply of essentials including food grains and kerosene oil to the people.
He urged upon the District Administration Pulwama to assess the losses of orchards so that relief is given to the affected people of the Pampore constituency.
In a statement issued here today, Mir Zahoor appealed the Power Employees Union to call off strike immediately as the common people are suffering badly for want of electricity particularly in the valley.
