| Mangat for leading simple life for achieving success | | | Jammu, March 15
Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma today said that we have to follow the teachings of our saint, gurus who took birth from time to time to bring out the society from social evils hatred and mistrust among various sections of the society.
He was addressing at a function organised in connection with celebration of 434th birth anniversary of Shri Goswami Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj at Research Centre Sarwal here today.
Mr. Sharma also flagged of Shoba Yatra which started from research centre Sarwal and taken from main bazars of Jammu city. Yatra will culminate at Dogra Hall.
He said that our Gurus always preached love, affection and brotherhood among all communities and also showed a path of simple life and worship to God which showers prosperity and happiness in the life. He advised the people not to shun bad habits and provide latest and scientific education to their children to live a life with dignity and face the challenges of modern era.
On this occasion, a charter of demand was also presented to the Minister. He announced Rs 10 lakh for construction of community hall and also assured that other demands would be taken up at the appropriate forum.
The main function will be held on 18th of March at Dogra hall Jammu when Havana and religious sermons will be held besides langar for the devotees.
Ex-MLA Th. Shiv Dev Singh, Corporators Jammu Municipal Corporation Mr. Deep Bhardwaj, Narshing Dass, Smt.Kanta Bhan, Chairman All J&K Mahasha Community Mahasha Vir Chand, President All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha Mr. Bodh Raj Rao, Prominent Citizen and thousands of devotees attended the function.
