| New designation for officers’ vis-à-vis NREGS | | | JAMMU, MARCH 16
Government has accorded sanction to the designation of Assistant Commissioners Development, District Panchayat Officers and Block Development Officers as District Project Coordinators, Additional District Project Coordinators and Programme Officers respectively for the purpose of implementation of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
These officers have been delegated administrative and financial powers respectively to the extent already delegated to Assistant Commissioners Development, District Panchayat Officers and Block Development Officers for discharging other administrative and financial responsibilities. |
