Zargar asks administration to restore roads of remote areas

Jammu, March 16
Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives Mr. Abdul Aziz Zargar has called upon the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Chief Engineer R&B and Deputy Commissioner Anantnag to gear up all its concerned agencies to restore vehicular traffic on various roads of remote areas of Kulgam area.
Mr. Zargar asked them to ensure supply of essentials like rice, atta, sugar and k.oil in Noorabad, Danow Kandi Marg, Bhati Jalan, Tangmarg Watoo, Branil Lammer, Malwan, Dardgund and Akhal areas. He said that snow clearing machines should be pressed into service on priority to clear snow from these roads so that traffic is restored and people should not face any inconvenience due to shortage of essential supply.
He also appealed the electricity employees union to call off their strike in view of the crisis arised due to recent heavy snowfall and start work of restoring power supply in the valley.
