| Non camp 1971 Chhamb displaced persons meet Chib | | | JAMMU, MAR 16
A deputation of non-camp Chhamb Displaced persons of 1971 led by its President S R Nagial called on newly elected MLC R S Chib here today and congratulated him on his election to Upper House.
The deputation apprised the MLC about the plight of the non camp residents and demanded their permanent rehabilitation on the pattern of camp displaced persons of 1971
According to an Association handout Chib is reported have said to the deputation that he has fair knowledge of their problems and would take up the matter with the Government as well as at other appropriate forums.
The delegation comprised Mangat Ram Chib, Khajur Singh Chib, Jai Singh, Kashmir Singh, Gurnam Singh, Puran Singh, Parkash Singh, Sat Sharma, Gajay Singh and Nasem Singh all residents of Tehsil Jammu
