| 3 foreign tourists feared dead in air crash | | | Srinagar, Mar 16
A group of three French Nationals are feared dead in an air crash at Gund area of Sonamarg here this afternoon.
Reliable sources told News Agency of Kashmir that the trio who were putting up in Grand Palace hotel did not return back till late evening after they boarded a private chopper and flew to world famous hill resort of Kashmir Valley Sonamarg for heli- skiing expedition.
The skiers identified as Shyvani Sauda, Diane Schlegl and Juliens Cubas, according to sources, were missing since their private Chopper disappeared in the Gund area of Sonamarg area. According to the sources, government has pressed in an Air Force chopper to locate the missing tourists, besides dispatching a police team to launch a search operation.
When contacted Grand Palace management told News Agency of Kahmir that the Group left for Sonamarg early this morning and did not return back till late evening, adding they have already informed the administration about the disappearance of the Tourists.
