| 2 arrested, Arms ammunition recovered | | | Srinagar, Mar 16
Police today claimed to have recovered a huge cache of Arms and ammunition during a search operation at village Reddi in Kupwara area of North Kashmir.
Official sources said that on specific information a police party of Kralpora Chowaki launched a search operation at village Raddi and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from two residential houses.
Sources said that police raided the houses of one Ab. Rashid Khan S/o Saif-ud-din and Zarifa Begam wife of Ab. Rashid residents of Reddi and recovered two Pistols, Pistol Mag-02, Wireless Set-01, Antenna wireless set-01, Pistol Ammunition 19-rounds, AK Ammunition 159- Rounds, UBGL grenade-07 and Hand grenade-05. Both the accused have been arrested. A Case has been registered in this regard |
