| 8 Gamblers arrested in Srinagar | | | Srinagar, Mar 16 In order to weed out gambling from the Capital city of Srinagar Police raided a hotel reportedly being used for gambling and arrested eight gamblers and recovered Rs, 22000 which was on stake. SHO Rajbagh told News Agency of Kashmir that on specific information a police party raided a hotel and arrested eight gamblers. The police party also recovered an amount of rupees of twenty two thousand from Nadeem Hussain Wani son of Gh. Mohd Wani resident of Khanyar, Showkat Ahmad Pampori son of Khazir Pampori resident of Khayam Chowk, Shujat Hussain Mir son of Gh. Rasool Mir resident of resident of Bemina, Mukhtiar Ahmad Wani son of Mohd Ashraf Wani resident of Saida Kadal, Shaheena Rafiq son of Rafiq Rather resident of Barbarshah, Rattan Pal Singh son of Sardar Khushwinder Singh resident of Jowahernagar, Tariq Ahmad son of Gh. Rasool resident of Khayam and Mudasir Ahmad Khan son of Ab. Rashid Khan resident of Ikhrajpora. An FIR under Gambling Act has been registered. |
