| Bomb hoax at BSE building in Mumbai | | | Mar | 19
MUMBAI: An anonymous telephone call that bomb was planted at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) building on the Dalal Street in South Mumbai on Monday afternoon set off panic, police said.
"A telephone operator at BSE received an anonymous call at 1212 hours on the board line saying that a bomb would explode within half an hour in the building," said a senior police officer.
A team from the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad was rushed to the building immediately and a search of the structure did not bring out any explosive material.
The Bombay Stock Exchange building was one of the thirteen blast sites during the 1993 serial blasts case.
