| BMS demands reorganization of Labour Department | | | Jammu March 19
A deputation of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) led by its State President Vijay Chandel called on Labour Minister and the Principal Secretary Labour and Employment and highlighted their demands which included reorganization of the Labour Department, implementation of Labour laws , reconstitution of provident fund board of trustee and revision of minimum wages.
The deputation also pleaded for empowering labour court and holding of ESI regional meeting.
The Minister, according to the Sangh handout, is reported to have assured that the points raised by the deputation would be favourably considered.
Those who were with the deputation included Harbans Choudhry, Major Singh, Ravinder Singh, Shamsher Chand and Nariender Kumar.
