| Ensure uninterrupted power supply or face action, warn Gupta | | | JAMMU March 19
Criticising Power Development Department of its failure to fulfill its promise of providing uninterrupted power supply to the consumers, President BJP Mandal Gandhi Nagar Vinay Gupta said that despite installation of e-metres, the curtailment was still continuing adversely affecting the student community and the businessmen in general and the common man in particular.
In a statement issued here today Gupta warned the PDD not to play with the sentiments of the Jammuits and ensure regular power supply without any curtailment. He said that there is no justification of curtailment when the electronic metres have already been installed. ‘If the authorities failed to provide round the clock power supply to its consumers, the party would be forced to initiate mass agitation for redressal of genuine demand of the Jammuits,’ he warned.
