New Delhi, March 19
Madhukar Gupta, Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports, will be the new Union Home Secretary, official sources said today.
Gupta, a 1971-batch IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, will take over from V K Duggal who is due to retire on March 31.
Gupta will join the Ministry as OSD before taking charge from Duggal.
