Dr. Parshotam Singh Pathania took over as Dean Students Welfare, University of Jammu. A Ph.D in Zoology, Dr. Pathania has more than 20 years of experience on administrative capacities including as Jt. Registrar for more than 3 years. He is the first Dean of Students Welfare in the University of Jammu who has administrative services background. He is also holding the additional charge of Director, Academic Staff College. A versatile personality, Dr. Pathania is the Vice-Chairman of the Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among Youths (SPICMACAY), J&K Chapter and member of many prestigious societies like Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), World Wild Life Fund (WWF etc.
