| VHP stages demonstration, burn Mussharaf’s effigy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

To show protest against the ongoing militancy in the state and killing of innocent persons at random, the state unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists took out a rally from Geeta Bhawan here today.
The rally was joined a large numbers of people, besides the workers of VHP passed through various bazaars of the city and later on culminated at city chowk.
Addressing the protestors the state President of VHP, Rama Kant Dubey said, that the government both at state and centre have totally failed in curbing the militancy in the state, but on the other hand are supporting militancy through their paid agents. He said both the govt. should be dismissed and a National Govt. he framed both at state and Centre.
He warned those who are supporting militancy in the state over ground. He said people want peace, prosperity and over all development in the state. Protestors raised against militants and Pak President Musharraf. Beside they were carrying ple-cards, militants Hai- Hai, and Bharat Mata Ki Jai etc.
During the rally activists burnt the effigy of President Pervez Musharaf also.
