| BJP deputation from Gandhi Nagar calls on Sudan | | | Jammu | March 20
A deputation from Gandhi Nagar led by Indu Bhushan Sharma, BJP District Secretary, today met Executive Engineer Sudan of the State Electricity Board and apprised him about the problems faced by the people of area with regard to electricity.
The deputation drew the attention of the Ex. Engineer towards the deteriorated condition of electric poles and haphazard wiring, demanded immediate shifting of poles and replacing the wire to avoid any short circuit.
They also complained that despite installation of electronic metres, the unscheduled power cuts were continuing.
The Ex. Engineer, according to a party handout, is reported to have assured the deputation that their demands would be looked into.
Kanhaiya Singh Slathia Sham Lal, Pradeep Singh, Navinder Khajuria and Raman Gupta also accompanied Sharma.
